Check out our Beauty Queen, Halo! She is an XXL Bully breed. Halo arrived to us as a stray and unfortunately nobody called for her.

Once she gets outside she is all about zoomies. She calms down and is a gentle giant! She has not been introduced to other dogs, simply for the fact that we don't have any canine kids that are up to meeting her.

It would be ideal if her new parents have large breed experience!

Lilo

Meet Lilo: The Unicorn-Seeking Pup ??

Lilo isn’t your made for everyone kind of dog. And honestly? That’s a good thing—because he deserves someone just as unique as he is.

This handsome boy has been at the shelter for over 3 years, and while that might sound heartbreaking (and it is), it also means we know him really well. What we’ve learned:

He’s brilliant. Lilo studies people and his surroundings carefully. When he decides you’re “his person,” you’ll have a loyal best friend who bonds hard.

He’s making real progress. Thanks to patience, training, and a little Fluoxetine, Lilo has learned to settle, relax, and even nap wrapped in a blanket on a lap. That’s a huge deal for a dog who used to always be “on alert.”

He chooses love over chaos now. Whether it’s ignoring commotion outside or leaning in for snuggles instead of springing up, he’s showing us that he wants to be calm and connected.

Loki

Loki is a one-of-a-kind pup with a heart as big as his smile — a 4-year-old Poodle and Rottweiler mix (yes, that makes him a Rottiepoo!) who's been patiently waiting at the shelter for almost three years. That’s over 1,000 days dreaming of a couch to call his own and a person to love him forever.

This curly-coated cutie is full of personality and always ready for fun. Fetch? He’s in.
Sniffaris in the woods? Let’s go.
A day at the lake, maybe even on a boat or paddleboard? Loki’s totally game — as long as you’re by his side.

With a little encouragement from his trusted human, Loki is brave, curious, and always ready to try something new. He’s food-motivated, knows his basic commands, and best of all — his adoption comes with ongoing training support through Kristina’s Critters to help you both start off on the right paw.

Max aka Max-A-Roni

Meet Max — Your Loyal Little Gentleman! ?

Max is an adorable 8–10-year-old Maltese-Poodle mix with a heart full of love and a playful spark that shines bright! Don’t let his age fool you — Max lives for his walks. You’ll smile watching his little ears happily hop along as he trots down the street, full of excitement and joy. Even with a slight limp, nothing slows this cheerful boy down!

Max is sociable, affectionate, and absolutely adores attention. He loves belly rubs, rolling around on soft blankets, and soaking up all the pets he can get. When he wants your love, he’ll gently gum at your hand — his sweet way of saying, “Hey, don’t forget about me!”

He’s leash trained, knows some basic commands, and is also hypoallergenic — perfect for endless cuddle sessions. Like many small dogs, Max is still working on marking, but he’s improving every day with patience and consistency.
